LILY PADS original watercolor painting is 12 by 18 inches on Fabriano rough paper. I entered this into the Rhode Island Watercolor Society "All About Color" show. After I spent hours going through my photos I picked a reference from when I was in Arcadia park when I captured the little frog and water lily and pads and then after I spent hours drawing it out, realized it was all green..... so I poured on the colors and prayed a little.
