Approximately 7 X 7" watercolor
finished this morning.

Today is the celebration of my youngest grandson's two year birth day. He is a great appreciator of my artwork. Yesterday he came running into the living room with my recent Block Island painting delightedly showing it to me.

My thought for today has to do with "detachment" -- avoiding the temptation to intervene on someone's behalf to help them avoid pain---and is from Mark Twain..."A man who carries a cat by the tail learns something he can learn in no other way."
Or in the words of Dr. Seuss, "“Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.”
