Church of the Ascension, Jerusalem Watercolor Painting

Church of the Ascension watercolor painting is 10 x 14" watercolor I just completed last night.
$210 with double mat and framed.

The reference photo is from a trip in 1999 to Jerusalem. I thought it was interesting that an Arab holds the keys to the church to unlock it because of all the religious mistrust....

My thought today is from Max Lucado "A Love Worth Giving"....

"Jesus blasts the top birds of the church,
those who roost at the top o the spiritual ladder and spread their plumes.....
In a world of upward mobility, choose downward servility.
Go down, not up....That's what Jesus did.
He flip-flopped the pecking order...
'He humbled himself and became obedient to death---even death on a cross!' Philippians 2:8NIV"
