Jerusalem City Walls

Jerusalem City Walls watercolor painting inspired by the strange feeling walking down these city streets where thousands before have walked, in a place that's basically the same as it was over two thousand years ago. So amazing looking at the architecture and the influences throughout the ages on it.

"I have only a small flickering light to guide me in the darkness of a thick forest. Up comes a theologian and blows it out." ....Denis Diderot

This is a watercolor, using the "Old Masters" palette....raw sienna, burnt sienna and paynes grey.... about 11 X 15, without a mat.
