American Eagle Watercolor Painting

American Eagle watercolor painting, 15" X 22" was a difficult and tedious painting trying to achieve the gold from the sun on those feathers and maintain a crisp painting.

Thought for today.... I like the idea of things being "sculpted from nothing" rather than a "walking weather vane whipped by the cold winds of fate", or "a confluence of inherited chromosomes and childhood trauma." ('Cure for the Common Life' by Max Lucado) I hope this painting reflects a little of that Sculptor's hand.
